Located within Kurikoma Quasi-National Park, this magnificent gorge was carved by the Otani River. With cliffs stretching for hundreds of meters, the mountains are painted in vibrant orange, yellow, and red during autumn, creating a breathtaking view. Izunuma & Uchinuma
Located in the northern part of Miyagi Prefecture, Izunuma and Uchinuma are among the largest lowland wetlands in Japan and are registered under the Ramsar Convention. Rich in natural resources, they attract a large number of migratory greater white-fronted geese every year, making them a famous bird-watching destination in Japan. The lake reflects the changing natural scenery of the four seasons, showcasing the tranquil and beautiful scenery of Tohoku.
Greater White-fronted Geese Observation Experience
