Product Info

  • Set off into the night forest of Amami Oshima, a World Natural Heritage site! A guide will take you on a slow car tour through the night forest, which reveals a completely different side from the daytime. Enjoy encounters with rare wildlife unique to Amami, such as the Amami rabbit (a Special Natural Monument), the Ryukyu scops owl, the Amami Ishikawa's frog, and the habu snake. You might also encounter seasonal creatures, plants, and a sky full of stars unique to that day. While we cannot guarantee sightings as these are wild animals, we will use our years of experience to guide you according to the conditions of the day. Solo participants are welcome! Families with small children and first-timers can also join with peace of mind. Come and enjoy an inspiring nature experience that can only be savored in the night of Amami.
