Product Info

Centering on the fading 'Chuanjiang Haozi' (Sichuan River Boatman's Chant), 'Impressions Wulong' takes you on a 70-minute immersive journey through the magnificent natural heritage of Wulong and the unique customs of the Bashu region. You will not only get a close-up view of the majestic Three Natural Bridges but also listen to the echoes of the boatman's chants in the canyon theater as the sun rises, enjoying an audio-visual feast where nature and humanity intertwine.

【Father's Boat】Following the rise of industrial civilization, motorized boats replaced manual towing. Although this labor scene has vanished, the spirit and bloodline left by our forefathers should not. Respecting our ancestors and the roots of our civilization means respecting history and our memories; the inheritance of civilization is the foundation of our nation's survival.

【The Maiden's Weeping Marriage】They wash their feet in a wooden basin without water. Though their faces are hidden, one can feel their joy and fear before marriage. They begin to sing: 'My father, my mother, only upon marriage do I realize the hardships of parents.' They slowly emerge from the corridor, showcasing their marriage with delicate and shy dance steps.

【Chuanjiang Haozi】Experience the spiritual mountains and beautiful waters of Wulong, the vast mist, and the local customs and poignant songs of the Bashu land. Listen once more to the heroic and magnificent 'Haozi' with curiosity, responsibility, and respect—not for nostalgia or mere inheritance, but to know where we come from and to keep our bloodline alive.

The theater is located in Taoyuan Grand Canyon, Chongqing Wulong, approximately 9 km from Fairy Mountain Town. Situated within a 'U'-shaped canyon with a height difference of 180 meters, the mysterious distant mountains and majestic nearby peaks, along with the serene gullies, protect the native ecology while providing an excellent natural stage for the performance. The theater features approximately 2,700 seats, with the stage and seating area seamlessly integrated to allow for zero-distance interaction between performers and the audience, creating an immersive viewing experience.
