An electric pottery wheel experience that leaves everyone smiling. It may look difficult, but once you get the hang of it, even beginners can easily and happily create practical pottery. Enjoy the fun of creating pottery with your own hands while feeling the clay! It is important to let your inner child out and have a great time. During the 2-hour session, you can make up to two pieces with a combined diameter and height of up to 24cm, and choose one to be finished within the price. *For an additional firing fee, you can choose to finish both pieces or create a larger size. Open to ages 10 and up! Perfect for families, couples, and friends to create wonderful memories. Once you are satisfied with the shape, you can choose the color while looking at samples! Please look forward to the completion, which takes about 2.5 months. Experienced instructors will provide careful advice and support, so please join us with peace of mind.
☆Decide on a shape☆
First, let's decide on the shape! It is very important to let your imagination run wild and decide what you want to make at the beginning. There are many types of bowls, such as 'plump and round,' 'with an open rim,' or 'standing straight up from the base.' Let's decide on the shape you really want to make! Don't worry, our instructors will give you gentle advice to help you achieve the shape you imagine!
☆Pottery making experience☆
At Rakuzo, we first shape the clay into a plate, then wrap it in our hands to form the shape of the vessel. Enjoy the fun of thinning it out and crafting the shape you envisioned with your own hands!
☆Finishing☆
Our staff will finish the pieces you created. Since the works are soft and cannot be touched when first made, we will let them dry naturally and finish the base. After that, they will be bisque-fired, glazed, and then glaze-fired to completion. It takes about 2.5 months to finish, so please look forward to it♪ (Pick up at the store or have it shipped for an additional fee)
