◆A rare anecdote about Takachiho◆
This is a trekking tour that allows you to actually visit and experience Takachiho, which appears in many mythological settings.
We will climb Mt. Futagamiyama, the mountain where the heavenly grandson descended, guided by Shigehiro Kai, the chief priest of Futagami Shrine at the foot of the mountain.
Enjoy the mountains and nature worshipped by the people of Takachiho with a Shinto priest as your guide.
From the top of Mt. Nijo, you can get a panoramic view of Takachiho Town, which is also registered as a UNESCO Ecopark.
The hiking trail is well maintained and can be reached in about 20 minutes, so even the average person can reach the summit safely.

  • If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, we will contact you one week in advance.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 4 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–3 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
