Iseju, founded in 1869 by Miyamoto Jubei in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, is one of Tokyo's most historic sukiyaki restaurants. With a commitment to promoting the nourishing properties of beef, the restaurant has been passed down through seven generations, adhering to traditional techniques to this day. Using premium A5-grade Kuroge Wagyu beef, Iseju pursues the purest flavor of the meat, regardless of brand. Nestled in a quiet alley near Kodenmacho, Iseju feels detached from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a immersive Japanese cultural atmosphere upon entering.
Iseju's sukiyaki is cooked in traditional iron pots over charcoal, paired with a secret sauce passed down through generations.
