Product Info

【Chitose River Downstream】 Located just about 20 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, you will be amazed by the rich nature that unfolds before you. On this Chitose River tour, you will drift downstream accompanied by a guide, watching fish through the clear water and observing birds flying through the trees. While feeling the breeze of the great outdoors, we will share many stories about Hokkaido's wildlife, vegetation, Ainu culture, and the history of its development! 【A Highly Stable Boat Tour!】 This is an approximately 8km river touring course from the meeting point at Daiichi Usakumai Bridge to the vicinity of the Chitose City Sports Center! Since we use wide rafting boats, there is almost no risk of capsizing! Along the way, we can stop the boat to look for creatures, or cool off by dipping your feet in the river while drifting. Let's enjoy the endlessly beautiful Chitose River with peace of mind! As the boat is operated by a safe and reliable guide, this tour is especially recommended for those who are anxious about river rafting, families with children, or those who want to take their time taking photos! The boat can accommodate up to 7 adults, or up to 8 people including children, making it perfect for creating travel memories! As of 2024, this course allows you to fully enjoy the Chitose River, which flows from Lake Shikotsu, the second clearest lake in Japan. Experience the true thrill of river rafting through gentle sections, narrow passages, and areas with small waves!
