Hong Kong's Lin Heung Lau enters its 99th year, standing as the city's sole surviving traditional tea house with nearly a century of heritage.
Located on Kimberley Road, the Tsim Sha Tsui branch carries on the soul of the traditional tea house—now operating 24 hours with late-night supper service and private dining rooms. Traditional dim sum trolleys weave through tables, tea brewed in classic lidded cups (gaiwan), and ceiling fans, patterned tiles, and birdcage decor recreate authentic old-Hong Kong charm. Veteran chefs uphold handcrafted mastery, preparing fresh shrimp dumplings, siumai, and nostalgic Cantonese stir-fries to order. Perfectly embodying the classic dim sum culture of "one cup of tea, two items of dim sum, boiling water, and fine tea," it invites diners to savor century-old flavors in a timeless atmosphere.
