Among Japanese eels, "Aote" eels are said to be the highest quality, with thick, well-fattened meat, soft flesh and thin skin. In search of these "Aote", we visit each and every farm pond and carefully select only those that have been raised in a less stressful environment. "Aote" eels are extremely rare, making up only about 10% of the eels on the market, but we are committed to securing them in the name of Tsukiji Unagi Daio, for the sake of our customers' deliciousness.
This is the highest quality grape sansho pepper from Wakayama Prefecture, which goes perfectly with our eel. We offer extremely fresh sansho pepper, which is carefully ground by craftsmen using a stone mill. Please enjoy real eel and real sansho pepper.
