Nan Yi Golf Country Club
Nan Yi Golf Country Club is an 18-hole international standard golf course designed by the Japanese designer Mr. Hiroshi Watanabe. It is considered one of the best courses in the south. The design is planned to serve both competitive and social purposes, aiming to provide guests with a space that combines social networking and fitness with competitive fun. The two-story, high-ceiling clubhouse with a Southeast Asian flair allows you to fully enjoy the atmosphere where nature and architecture blend. The spacious and comfortable environment offers exquisite Chinese and Western cuisine, international-level conference facilities, and professional commercial exhibition spaces, making it a multi-functional leisure and recreational destination.
Tainan Golf Club
The Tainan Xinhua course was planned and developed during the martial law period. In 1967, former legislator Ms. Liang Hsu Chun-chu, foreseeing that golf would become a popular sport that cultivates noble character, gathered support from social elites to act as initiators. With the assistance of General Ho Ying-chin and other relevant figures, the land at the foot of Hutoupi was secured for the course. The first nine holes were completed in March 1971, and the remaining nine holes were finished in 1978, forming an 18-hole course. In 1998, the back nine holes were renovated and reopened, simultaneously sparking a surge in the popularity of golf in the south.
Bombax Golf Country Club
The course covers 108 hectares and was meticulously designed by the international golf course design master Pete Dye. It is a highly challenging 27-hole course that integrates human elements, and it is the only work by Master Dye in Taiwan. The 27 holes are divided into three sections: Green Mountain, Green Water, and Gold, with nine holes each. The Green Mountain and Green Water sections are standard international championship courses, while the Gold section is shorter and suitable for amateur golfers. The fairways wind through valleys and woodlands with varied terrain. Each hole is designed based on the original topography, combining native forests and lakes to provide golfers with a highly varied and challenging experience. The goal is to create a comfortable, high-quality golf resort that meets international standards. Facilities: Member lounge, Lunch restaurant, conference rooms, karaoke (entertainment center), mahjong room, billiards, table tennis room, and indoor golf practice range.
Nan Pao Golf
Welcome to Nan Pao Golf, where you can happily wander through the greenery of the course. Officially opened in 1985, Nan Pao Golf is located in Toushe Village, Danei District, Tainan City, on a gentle hillside surrounded by two tributaries of the Liushuang Creek. The 27 holes are divided into A, B, and C sections. Looking out from the clubhouse, section B is in the center, section C is on the left, and section A is on the right, with a total length of 10,493 yards covering 82 hectares. Entrusted to a Japanese designer to plan according to the terrain, the fairways run north-south, ensuring there is no direct glare regardless of the season or time of day. With the natural undulations of the terrain and mature, shady trees, the fairways seem embedded between the trees and ponds, and the turns appear to be dictated by the original landscape. The course is home to a large number of birds, with egrets being the most common.
Chia Nan Golf
Chia Nan Golf is located in Guantian District, Tainan City, just 5.9 kilometers from Wushantou Reservoir, offering beautiful scenery and an elegant environment. It was designed and constructed by the renowned American design firm Willard C. Byrd & Associates. The course covers approximately 75 hectares and was planned according to the original topography, resulting in an 18-hole, par-72, 6,825-yard course that officially opened on March 5, 1995. The most distinctive hole is the 14th, which features a three-tiered green that is high on the right and low on the left, waiting for your challenge. Additionally, the long 15th hole is a par-5 with a 100-yard, five-claw-shaped bunker in the middle of the fairway, a sophisticated design that is extremely challenging and sure to impress golfers.
