Gyeongpodae Cherry Blossom Festival
Every year around early April, the Gyeongpodae Cherry Blossom Festival is held in the Gyeongpodae area. It is one of Gangneung's signature festivals, attracting large numbers of domestic and international tourists every year. Centered around Gyeongpodae, the festival unfolds along a beautiful 4.3km cherry blossom road surrounding Gyeongpo Lake, creating a spring feast. The blooming cherry blossoms, forsythias, and daffodils decorate the area into a stunning world of flowers.
You can also ride a four-person bike under the cherry blossom trees to enjoy both the flowers and the lake view!
