I bought tickets using KKday, but when I arrived at the entrance, the staff told me we couldn't go in. I had to go to the ticket office and get another verification code using the same QR code. This is because the Gold Museum has many galleries, and they can't accept the KKday QR code for every gallery; I had to go to the ticket office to exchange it for an entry QR code. This was quite inconvenient.

Traveling with two children aged five and six was quite rushed. But thank you to our guide, Ms. Wu, for her excellent leadership and explanations of the sights. She was very friendly and made the whole trip very smooth. She even encouraged us to climb a bit higher; Auntie Agan's taro balls were delicious and offered great views.

The girl group experience was great, but the downside was that there wasn't a chance to take photos. The experience was fulfilling, but it was a bit of a shame we couldn't stop and slowly appreciate the scenery. A battery-saving feature would have been even better.

It was a little under 2500 yen per person, and there was no children's discount, so I was worried that it would cost almost 10,000 yen for a family of four. There was a rope set up at the entrance and a staff member was standing there, and it seemed like you couldn't get in without a reservation, so I'm glad we made one. We went mainly expecting to pay for the location, but the tea was absolutely delicious. You might not want to get your hopes up about the snacks that come with the tea. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Taiwan or Jiufen for the first time.
