Our family of eight traveled to the Kansai region. We usually travel independently, but this time we joined the "Kyoto by the Sea" day trip, which added a unique experience to our trip. In one day, we visited Amanohashidate, Ine, and Miyama. The sea views, mountain views, and thatched-roof houses each had their own charm, making the itinerary more fulfilling and adding to the overall experience of our independent travel. While on the boat, we saw seagulls soaring up close. Taking the cable car to the observation deck overlooking Amanohashidate, the blue sky, coastline, and mountain views along the way were so captivating that we couldn't help but take photos. Lunch was at a restaurant with large windows offering stunning views; the seafood donburi, pork cutlet donburi, and cold noodles were all incredibly delicious! In Miyama, we also tried Miyama milk and bought soba noodles. There were also many charming little scenic spots to enjoy at our leisure. A special thank you to our guide, Kelly, for being so kind and thoughtful; she even helped us buy donuts, adding a delightful surprise to our trip. She also took many beautiful photos of us, and there was no extra charge for taking photos with your phone; if you wanted to print them out, it was only 1,500 yen per photo, definitely worth keeping as a souvenir. With private transportation, there was no need to constantly check traffic, transfer, or worry about getting lost, making it much easier for families traveling together. This trip wasn't just about beautiful scenery, but also delicious food and lots of laughter, making it an unforgettable day in our Kansai trip. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience both the coastal city of Kyoto and the charm of Miyama!

Although the weather was quite unstable, with the rain intensifying towards the afternoon, the Ine Boat Houses possessed a unique beauty in the drizzle. I especially loved the tranquility of the Ine Boat Houses in the morning, accompanied by the distant mountain mists—truly beautiful! The Amanohashidate was shrouded in a gray haze due to the torrential rain, but the gondola ride was still a lot of fun! The entire trip, coupled with our guide Xiao Liao's humorous and engaging commentary, was quite enjoyable. Thanks to Xiao Liao's meticulous leadership and well-planned schedule, the trip wasn't disrupted by the heavy rain, and he catered to everyone's needs in many small ways. Although we were responsible for our own lunch, Xiao Liao clearly explained the available dining options and recommended different types of food, so there was little to worry about.
