The guided tour was detailed and catered to the needs of tourists from different language backgrounds. The service was attentive, the matcha experience was memorable, the tour bus was comfortable, and the itinerary connected many distant attractions smoothly!
Although there's space, there are quite a few choices. There might be slightly fewer options for younger boys. Because it was very hot, we all opted for yukatas. Girls could pay extra for flower embroidery, which looked very pretty. The path leads to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which is a bit of a distance, so I recommend wearing your own shoes to avoid getting tired.
This time, I found online that going to Kiyomizu-dera Temple on my own would take a long time, so I joined a KKday day tour. Unexpectedly, we took a minibus, and there was only one other passenger besides us – it was practically a private tour! Luckily, I joined KKday because I didn't anticipate it raining all day; the chance of rain was 100%. Having a minibus made the tour much more convenient. I'm especially grateful to our guide, Huo Nan, who thoughtfully drove us around the attractions first so we could familiarize ourselves with the layout, and then gave us free time. He also offered suggestions on the best routes at each attraction. Thank you so much!
