The tour guide, having lived in Hokkaido for many years, was very experienced and the itinerary was generally well-planned. Although we didn't see many autumn leaves, the scenery was still beautiful. The onsen hotel we stayed at was comfortable, and the buffet breakfast and dinner were also very good.
The journey was long and the stops were a bit short, but our guide, Eric, meticulously introduced the highlights of each attraction, recommended good food and shopping, and arranged pick-up times. Shikisai-no-oka/Farm Tomita in mid-September is also incredibly beautiful. There's a lunch stop at a place that sells lavender-related items. The raw corn at Shikisai-no-oka is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the lavender ice cream at Farm Tomita is also quite unique. Recommended for travelers without a car who want a relaxing trip to the Furano area!
I've joined many KKDay day tours since then, but this was truly the best experience ever! While those who don't speak Japanese might miss out on some of the guided commentary, the time allotted for a day tour was perfect, and everyone was incredibly punctual! Two hours was more than enough for Asahikawa Zoo! The time allotted for all the attractions was just right, not too rushed. The tour leader (a female leader born in Hokkaido) was also incredibly responsible and friendly! Thank you for giving me such wonderful memories of Hokkaido!
Our tour guide, Kobayashi, was incredibly attentive and professional. She answered all my questions and recommended absolutely delicious restaurants. The whole day trip was very comfortable and fun. If you ever come to Hokkaido, you absolutely must try her!
The itinerary was the same as the promotional materials, and the time spent at each attraction was as expected, which was sufficient. However, the tour guide on the day seemed a bit different from the experienced tour guides I had encountered before. Fortunately, the group members were very self-disciplined, which allowed the itinerary to be completed smoothly. Overall, the itinerary was rich and the price was reasonable.
The tour guide's humorous and engaging commentary added a lot of fun and interesting facts about Hokkaido, and even the rain didn't dampen our spirits. His introductions to each attraction and recommendations for local products were spot-on. Thank you to the tour guide for being with us all the way! Shikisai-no-oka isn't just beautiful with its flower fields; the corn, croquettes, and strawberries are absolutely delicious!! We had plenty of time at Farm Tomita, so we could leisurely enjoy the scenery.
