KKDAY isn't their primary customer base, so they don't contact people through KKDAY. Instead, they remind you a day in advance via email about changes to the meeting time and location. My email didn't send a notification, so I didn't notice it. I lingered near the group for 15 minutes on the day of the tour before finally approaching to inquire after hearing the guide call my name. The guide wasn't holding the panda sign as advertised on KKDAY. The guide and other group members were all Chinese, so they created a WeChat group, and a QR code was provided in the email to join. Tickets were electronic; everyone else seemed to receive their tickets via WeChat, but you could also choose to receive them via WhatsApp or email. If you choose email, you need to inform the guide if you don't have an Apple ID, otherwise you won't receive the email. The Vatican is very crowded. Even if you're not on a tour, you'll be swept along by the crowds. There won't be time to stop and take lots of photos, so be quick and precise when taking pictures. There are no restrooms or water stations during the tour, but the tour guide will let you use the restroom and buy water at the beginning of the tour. Because of the large number of people, groups may be separated. Remember the flag the tour guide is holding. Headphones will be distributed before the tour begins, so don't worry about being too far away from the guide to hear. The entire tour won't be exactly 3 hours long; it will end about half an hour later than the KKDAY itinerary.
