How to order & receive THSR tickets
- Order for THSR tickets
- Passengers can book tickets for trains departing within the next 29 days (including the day of departure), up until 1 hour before the departure time. Additionally, on Fridays and Saturdays, tickets can be booked up to four weeks in advance, including Sundays. If there are any adjustments due to special circumstances, THSR will make a separate announcement.
- Seating on the THSR is assigned through a computer system, the seats or specify the carriage can't be choose by passengers. It is also not guaranteed that seats will be available to sit together.
- Please read the privacy statement of the THSR Tour-Plus for more information. By completing the booking for the THSR Tour-Plus, indicate that you have read and agreed to the terms of the privacy statement.
- the Taiwan High-Speed Rail T Express Mobile Ticketing Service app for iOS version 9.0 and above or Android version 6.0 and above.
- Collecting High-Speed Rail Tickets
- Please bring your High-Speed Rail booking reference number and the identification number used by the ticket holder at the time of booking to the High-Speed Rail station ticket counter, automated ticket machines, convenience stores (an additional handling fee of 10 NTD per ticket, 20 NTD for round-trip tickets), or the High-Speed Rail T-EX mobile ticketing app for ticket collection.
※ Note 1: For tickets obtained through the T-EX App for this project, changes or refunds must be processed at the High-Speed Rail station ticket counter. - Passengers purchasing concession tickets must have relevant identification documents for verification during ticket purchase, collection, and boarding.
- Tour-plus ( High-Speed Rail joint tickets) are offered at a discounted price and can only be used on the designated day and schedule. Is not lost supplement, please safekeeping. (If the original High-Speed Rail schedule is missed due to unforeseen circumstances, passengers can take other available trains on the same day with non-reserved seats.)
- When passengers see a green arrow indicator light on the gate, it indicates a passage that can be used; a red 'X' indicates a passage that cannot be used.

Cancellation of High-Speed Rail Tickets
- Cancellation of High-Speed Rail Tickets
- For THSR tickets that have not been redeemed, you can apply for cancellation through the 'Orders' section on the KKday platform with the following policies:
a. Cancellation made 30 minutes 'before' prior to the departure time of the selected High-Speed Rail train incurs a 0% cancellation fee of the ticket price.
b. Cancellation made 'within' 30 minutes of the departure time of the selected High-Speed Rail train incurs a 100% cancellation fee of the ticket price. - For High-Speed Rail tickets that have been 'redeemed' and you wish to process a refund, follow these guidelines:
a. Please bring the High-Speed Rail ticket to any High-Speed Rail station or convenience store with multimedia facilities to process the refund. Each ticket incurs a refund handling fee of TWD 20.
b. For those who obtained tickets through the High-Speed Rail T-EX App and require changes or refunds, please proceed to the High-Speed Rail station ticket counter and provide valid identification for the ticket holder. - Refund policy during typhoon days: From the day when a typhoon warning is issued until the day when the typhoon warning is lifted, passengers who have purchased High-Speed Rail train tickets during this period are requested to collect their tickets no later than one day after the travel date. These passengers can then present the unused ticket at any High-Speed Rail station within one year from the travel date to process a refund, without incurring any handling fees.
- For changes or refunds of physically redeemed High-Speed Rail tickets, unless specified otherwise, all procedures are subject to the relevant regulations in the Taiwan High-Speed Rail Company's passenger transportation contract.
- For the cancellation of any add-on item
- Prioritizing the cancellation of the High-Speed Rail train ticket is essential. After the cancellation is completed, you can then contact KKday customer service to request the cancellation of the add-on item.
Changing Usage Dates for High-Speed Rail Tickets & Add-Ons
- Changes to High-Speed Rail Tickets
- Changes to the High-Speed Rail departure time and date cannot be made online. If changes are needed, you may cancel the order and make a new reservation. If you are already at the High-Speed Rail station, please consult station personnel at the physical counter at least 30 minutes before the specified departure time on the designated travel date.
- Cancellation of Add-Ons
- Modifications to the usage date of add-on items are not possible. If changes are required, you can cancel the order and make a new reservation.
