A steamship ride is a must, and a trip to the farm is a must! The farm is beautiful, and there's a sheep shearing show, a delicious BBQ, and so many activities—it's hard to choose!
On April 22nd, the first group at 7:30 AM had excellent weather and successfully completed their 15,000-foot skydive. The instructors were very encouraging, which made me feel at ease. Buying the photo package is definitely worthwhile and I would recommend it to everyone.
When we first arrived near Fox Glacier, it was raining heavily, and the weather forecast for the next day predicted a 100% chance of rain. I was worried the trip would be canceled, and sure enough, upon arrival, it was confirmed that the trip was canceled. They immediately helped us reschedule for the first group the following day. Fortunately, the weather the next day was absolutely fantastic. The pre-trip briefing was very detailed, and they provided waterproof jackets, pants, wool socks, boots, gloves, backpacks, and trekking poles. We only needed to bring a warm hat and scarf, water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. We had a very enjoyable time. Although the area we explored didn't seem very large, there were some rugged and difficult sections, beautiful blue ice caves, and professional instructors. I highly recommend it!
The staff were attentive, the guides were dedicated, and the safety training was very comprehensive. A full range of items were provided for borrowing: jackets, boots, crampons, gloves, socks, hats, and trousers. The whole experience was novel and highly recommended as a must-do activity when visiting the South Island.
A very unique experience; looking up, it resembles the starry sky. Fireflies have short lifespans; the larvae secrete special "fishing lines" to catch prey. Detailed explanation; the itinerary is punctual and well-organized.
Amazing! A must-do in Queenstown! I loved it so much, I'm so glad I signed up.
