Clothing and items: [Clothing] - Footwear: Mid-cut or high-cut hiking boots that cover your ankles. Snow boots are acceptable if you do not have hiking boots. - Socks: Medium-thickness wool or polyester socks. Cotton is not allowed. - Base layer: Quick-drying and heat-generating thermal top and bottom. - Middle layer: Insulating middle layer such as fleece. A thin, front-zip style is best for easy temperature regulation compared to a pullover sweater. - Inner down or down jacket: Not worn while walking, but used during lunch or when stationary. It is safe to keep one in your backpack as it is compact. Essential for cold protection in case of sudden weather changes. - Outerwear: Water-repellent, waterproof, breathable, and windproof. Rain gear, hard shells, or soft shells are recommended. Ventilation features make it easier to regulate body temperature. Ski wear with thick insulation is difficult to use for temperature regulation. - Pants: Water-repellent, waterproof, and windproof. Ventilation features make it easier to regulate body temperature. - Knit hat or balaclava/face mask - Gloves: It is convenient to have thin gloves for the ascent and waterproof, insulated gloves for playing in the snow.
