  7. We do not guarantee specific room types for hotels involved in boutique small-group tours. If guests choose a room for 3 or 4 people, we will try our best to arrange a room with two beds, but we cannot guarantee it. If you need an extra bed, please consult the hotel front desk directly. Hotel terms and conditions apply, and you are responsible for any additional costs.
  8. Hotels have different room types, such as a room with one King/Queen bed or two Double beds. The maximum occupancy per room is 2-4 people, including adults and children. Each hotel has different policies for collecting deposits (usually via credit card for authorization and refund). Guests must cooperate according to the specific regulations. We guarantee the number of rooms, but not the specific room type or location. Hotel check-in time is usually after 15:00.
  9. If there are no additional charges, the hotel will refund the deposit to the original payment method within 7-14 business days for U.S. cards and 14-21 business days for international cards after check-out. The actual arrival time may vary depending on the bank's processing procedures. Thank you for your understanding. We are not responsible for recovering credit card deposits but can assist customers in checking the hotel's processing status.

  11. Boutique small-group tours do not allow guests to bring their own National Park passes or attraction tickets. If guests bring their own, we will refuse to provide transportation services for that day, and guests must arrange their own transportation. (Non-U.S. residents may bring their own National Park passes.)
  12. During the actual trip, the guide or driver has the right to adjust the order of attractions, duration of stay, or meeting times based on weather, traffic, and other conditions to ensure the smooth operation of the tour. If an attraction is temporarily closed or closed due to holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), the guide will adjust the itinerary to include exterior views or replace it with other attractions to ensure the richness of the tour. Opening hours and capacity controls for attractions and National Parks change from time to time; if these affect the itinerary, it is considered force majeure and fees are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.
  13. In the event of natural disasters, weather, strikes, road conditions, or other force majeure factors, we reserve the right to adjust the itinerary and hotels to ensure the safety and rights of travelers; fees are non-refundable. We are not responsible if force majeure prevents us from reaching the pickup/drop-off location. We are not liable for any inconvenience, flight/train costs, or other additional expenses caused by itinerary delays resulting from these factors.
  14. Luggage limit: Due to vehicle and passenger capacity limits, each person is allowed to bring 1 suitcase of 26 inches or smaller. You are responsible for any issues caused by exceeding this limit. We provide free storage for excess or oversized luggage at the departure city. (We provide new locks; you are responsible for the key cost and must keep the key safe. We are not responsible for the consequences of lost keys.)
  15. Please keep your luggage safe during the trip. If luggage is lost at a hotel or during sightseeing, please secure the scene and call the police immediately. Our guide will cooperate with the police investigation. To avoid affecting other travelers, our guide will not accompany customers to handle follow-up issues regarding lost luggage. Customers are responsible for any costs incurred. We recommend purchasing travel property insurance before your trip.
  16. Our company is not responsible for damage to or loss of travelers' luggage, handbags, or personal items. If necessary, please purchase relevant personal international travel insurance.
  17. If you are traveling with a child (under 8 years old), please inform Customer Support when booking and provide the child's age to ensure a child seat is prepared (USD 20/time). If a safety seat cannot be arranged due to failure to provide this information, it may lead to itinerary delays until the seat is ready. You are responsible for any resulting delay costs and losses incurred from providing the infant/child seat (including but not limited to rental fees, fines for violating laws by not using a child seat, and costs related to driver license penalties or customer complaints).
  18. Guests on boutique small-group tours must pay the tour fee domestically; all other expenses must be paid in cash while abroad.

FAQs

1. What are the best months or seasons to visit Antelope Canyon for optimal views?

The spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) offer pleasant weather and beautiful light in Antelope Canyon. During summer (June to August), the famous light beams in Upper Antelope Canyon are most prominent, though it can be hotter and more crowded. Winter months (December to February) generally mean fewer crowds and a cooler, more subdued light.

2. What are the key differences between Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon experiences?

Upper Antelope Canyon is wider at the top and accessed via a flat walk, making it generally easier to navigate, and is famous for its direct light beams in summer. Lower Antelope Canyon is narrower with ladders and staircases, offering a more adventurous, winding passage. Both offer stunning slot canyon views, but Lower typically requires more physical mobility and features different light angles.

3. What are the recommended daily visiting times for experiencing Lower Antelope Canyon?

For Lower Antelope Canyon, the best times to visit are typically between mid-morning and early afternoon (e.g., 10 AM to 2 PM). During these hours, the sunlight directly enters the canyon, illuminating the walls and creating vibrant colors and striking patterns. This period offers the most dramatic photographic opportunities and showcases the canyon's unique beauty.

4. How do the scenic experiences at Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend compare for visitors?

Antelope Canyon provides an intimate, immersive experience within a narrow, sculpted slot canyon, showcasing intricate sandstone formations and mesmerizing light effects. Horseshoe Bend offers a grand, expansive panoramic view of the Colorado River making a dramatic U-turn from a high cliff overlook. While Antelope Canyon is about enclosed beauty, Horseshoe Bend provides breathtaking, vast landscapes.

5. How can visitors arrange admission to Antelope Canyon when planning a tour?

Access to Antelope Canyon is restricted and requires a mandatory guided tour led by a certified Navajo guide. When joining a tour that includes Antelope Canyon, such as those offered on KKday, your admission and the guided tour are typically pre-arranged. Booking through KKday provides convenience by bundling these essential services, ensuring a smooth and guaranteed entry experience without the need for separate bookings.

6. Is it possible to visit Antelope Canyon independently, or is a guided tour recommended?

It is not possible to visit Antelope Canyon independently. All visitors are required to enter with an authorized Navajo guide due to the canyon's sacred status and for safety reasons. A guided tour is highly recommended and necessary, as it provides cultural insights, ensures navigation through the canyon, and offers detailed explanations of its geology and history, enhancing the overall experience.

7. What types of activities can be enjoyed at Lake Powell during a visit?

Lake Powell offers a variety of water-based activities and scenic views. Visitors can enjoy boat tours exploring its vast blue waters and impressive rock formations, kayaking or paddleboarding in quieter coves, and swimming in designated areas. It's also a popular spot for photography, capturing the unique desert landscape meeting the expansive lake.

8. How is transportation managed between Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend on a tour?

On a structured tour, such as the boutique small group tours available on KKday, transportation between attractions like Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend is seamlessly managed by a dedicated driver-guide. This eliminates the need for personal navigation or parking worries, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenic drives. These tours often feature comfortable vehicles and amenities like onboard Wi-Fi for an enhanced travel experience.
