Product Info

This guided walking tour provides a structured overview of Kraków’s Jewish heritage and World War II history. With a licensed expert guide, you will explore key locations that together present a complete historical perspective of the city.
By linking Kazimierz, Schindler’s Factory, and the former Ghetto, the tour offers a coherent narrative through authentic sites and expert interpretation.

Begin in Kazimierz, once a vibrant centre of Jewish life. Walk along historic streets lined with synagogues and townhouses dating back to the 16th–18th centuries. See the Old Synagogue, the Remuh Synagogue and Cemetery, the Kupa Synagogue, and the Tempel Synagogue. The walk concludes at Plac Nowy, today a lively cultural square. Your guide will explain the district’s religious traditions, daily life, and historical significance.

Continue to Schindler’s Enamel Factory and explore the exhibition “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945.” Through photographs, personal objects, and reconstructed interiors, the museum presents life under occupation.
You will learn how Oskar Schindler used his factory to protect more than a thousand Jewish workers, placing his story within the wider context of persecution and deportations.

The tour concludes in the former Jewish Ghetto in Podgórze. See the preserved fragments of the Ghetto Walls and visit Ghetto Heroes Square, marked by the memorial of empty metal chairs symbolizing lives lost.
You will also see the Under the Eagle Pharmacy, where Tadeusz Pankiewicz assisted ghetto residents during the occupation.
