Green Sea Turtle Nesting Tour｜Costa Rica

Come discover a new adventure, where you will live an experience, observe this natural process on one of the most important beaches, for sea turtles in the Tortuguero National Park, witness this unique event to remember.

Once in the parking lot, the peacock; You can leave the car to embark on a tour through the natural channels, to the town of Tortuguero. Once you arrive at the town you will see an area surrounded by nature. The local guide with extensive experience will be waiting to answer all your questions about the turtle tour.

This excursion will begin at a meeting point and will take place at specific times during the night from: 8 pm to 10 pm and from: 10 pm to 12 midnight, waiting for the assigned time and the corresponding sector since the beach It is divided into sectors.

Once at the meeting point, before the tour you receive information about the regulations to follow, all this activity will be carried out with black clothing, ponchos, closed shoes and a flashlight with red light since it is very important to promote conservation and protection of sea turtles. You will also not be able to carry cameras or a cell phone because the white light interrupts the turtle's nesting. Something you should keep in mind is that turtles nest in tropical areas where rain is always present.

We have personnel trained by the tracker program, they will help us locate the turtle, and also regulate order on the beach.
