I am a local guide, born and raised in the Triple Border region, and I want to provide you with an authentic, safe, and unique experience in Paraguay.
The tour begins with departure from Foz do Iguaçu and crossing the International Friendship Bridge towards Ciudad del Este. During the trip, you will learn about stories, interesting facts, and aspects of daily life that help you better understand the city's culture, identity, and importance to the entire region.
Our first stop will be at Lago de la República, one of the nicest spots in Ciudad del Este. Afterwards, we will continue to the impressive Saltos del Monday, known as the “Paraguayan Falls.” With large waterfalls in the midst of nature.
The experience also includes a stop at the traditional Chiperia Mi Abuela, where you can discover and taste the famous Paraguayan chipa, one of the country's most typical and beloved flavors.
Next, we will visit the Mosque of Foz do Iguaçu, which symbolizes the cultural and religious diversity present at the Triple Frontier. We will also visit the San Blas Cathedral, one of the city's main religious and historical symbols, with its distinctive architecture and great importance to the local community.
To complete the tour, there will be time dedicated to shopping in downtown Ciudad del Este. You will receive guidance on how to make the most of your time, find reliable places, and shop with greater security and peace of mind.
It is important to consider that there may be lines to cross the Friendship Bridge, especially at busy times. Therefore, the time of entry and exit from Paraguay may vary, and the itinerary may be adjusted according to traffic and border conditions.
All stops and attractions are optional and can be adapted according to the group's interests, available time, and the day's conditions.
More than a shopping tour, this is an opportunity to get to know the real Paraguay, combining culture, history, gastronomy, nature, and the experience of a local guide.
