The 6.3 km trail takes you through the interior of an ancient volcanic crater, with sections of lush forest, natural streams, rocky and uneven terrain, and beautiful mountain landscapes. The route includes a visit to La Piedra Pintada, where you can see pre-Columbian petroglyphs, before continuing toward La Cruz Viewpoint. From the higher sections of the trail, enjoy panoramic views of El Valle, the surrounding mountains, and the countryside.
