Product Info

Begin your walking tour in the heart of Sarajevo at Sebilj, an Ottoman-style wooden fountain dating back to the 18th century. Located in Baščaršija Square, this is the main walking area in the old town.

Next, stroll through Kazandžiluk Street, one of the oldest streets in Sarajevo, known for its metallurgy works based on 16th-century designs.

Continue to the Sarajevo City Hall, built in the late 19th century and renovated in 2014 after being damaged during the Siege of Sarajevo in 1992. Across the bridge from the City Hall, visit the House of Spite, which has a fascinating story embodying Bosnian resilience.

Walk to the Latin Bridge, the site where Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was assassinated, triggering the First World War.

Then, visit the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque and the clock tower, dating back to the 16th century. Continue to Gazi Husrev-beg’s Bezistan and Tašlihan, also from the 16th century.

See the Old Orthodox Church, established in the 16th century, and the Sacred Heart Cathedral from the 19th century.

End your tour at the Meeting of Cultures sign, located on the main walking area, which clearly divides the old Ottoman architecture and Austro-Hungarian architecture, showcasing the clear differences in their styles.
