Chengdu Departure: Western Sichuan Table Mountain Day Tour | Wawu Mountain Cloud & Mist + Lanxi Cliff Secret Spot

Participants must be between 3 and 70 years old.

Snow season reminder: Mid-November to early March of the following year. Best snow viewing period: Mid-December to the end of February of the following year, with higher chances of thick snow, rime, and ice waterfalls; November only has sporadic early snow and is unstable; snow begins to melt slowly in March (snow season is affected by the weather of the year, these dates are for reference only).

Recommended route for Lanxi Cliff and Mid-Mountain Gallery (for reference only): Visitor Center — Take Jinhua Cableway to the mid-mountain (cableway duration approx. 15 minutes) — Transfer to Gufoping Cableway to the summit, i.e., Gufoping upper station (cableway duration approx. 8 minutes) — Transfer to summit battery car / sightseeing bus to Xiang'er Villa (optional, 30 CNY / person) — Lanxi Waterfall (hiking) — Lanxi Cliff plank road entrance (if you arrive here after 13:00, please return the same way) (hiking) — Lanxi Waterfall Water Curtain Cave (hiking) — Yangxi Waterfall viewing platform (hiking) — Yuanxi Waterfall corridor (hiking) — Mid-Mountain Gallery (hiking) — Gufoping Cableway middle station (hiking) — Take cableway to Gufoping lower station — Transfer to Jinhua Bridge Cableway (exit the park).

Lanxi Cliff plank road: approx. 1.4 km, hiking time approx. 1 hour; 'Mid-Mountain Gallery' approx. 3.1 km, hiking time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; total distance approx. 4.5 km, hiking time approx. 3-4 hours; (Summit Lanxi Cliff plank road opening hours: 10:00 AM — 15:00 PM, please control the playing time for the route from Lanxi Cliff plank road to Mid-Mountain Gallery within: 10:00 AM — 15:30 PM); (Please observe the entry time for this section. If you enter after the specified time, you may not be able to go down the mountain, so please arrange your time reasonably and proceed with caution). Special note: Gufoping Cableway lower station closes at 17:00, ride duration approx. 8 minutes; Jinhua Bridge Cableway lower station closes at 17:30, ride duration approx. 13 minutes. (The recommended plan is for reference only, please act according to your ability and strictly follow the group tour time).

Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and the accompanying adult will be the guardian during the trip. Seniors aged 60 (inclusive) and above must be accompanied by at least one adult relative or friend. Due to steep slopes and high roads, those with underlying diseases (or potential risk diseases) such as heart disease, high blood pressure, acrophobia, as well as pregnant women, disabled persons, children, and the elderly are strictly prohibited from entering. We apologize for any inconvenience.

You must present your original ID card or passport / Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan travel permit to enter all scenic spots. Please be sure to carry the documents filled in during registration. If you are unable to enter the park due to forgetting your documents or incorrect document information, any additional costs incurred must be borne by the traveler.

Traffic jams or other emergencies may occur on the day, so please do not book flights or train tickets for the same day to avoid unnecessary losses due to not arriving on time.

The summit altitude is about 2830 meters. In winter, the summit temperature is -5℃~0℃, which is 6–10℃ lower than the foot of the mountain. Please keep warm. Wawu Mountain is located in the hinterland of the Western Sichuan rain screen, with frequent rain and fog, especially in winter, with many icy roads and slippery conditions. Please prepare relevant protective equipment when visiting.

The tour time of the scenic spot and the gathering/dismissal time are for reference only, subject to actual notification. The travel agency has the right to adjust the order of scenic spots, but will not reduce the number of tour items; if the itinerary is affected by force majeure, the travel agency will assist travelers in handling it, but will not bear the derived losses. Any additional costs incurred as a result must be borne by the traveler.

Some scenic spots in this itinerary and nearby stops may have souvenir shops. The kiosks at rest stops (water points, toilets) along the way do not belong to the shopping shops of the itinerary.
