3-Day Central Mongolia Waterfall, Ancient Capital, Semi Gobi｜Mongolia

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar – Kharkhorin – Erdene Zuu Monastery

Depart Ulaanbaatar in the morning and journey across Mongolia's vast open steppe to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Day 2: Kharkhorin – Orkhon Valley – Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall – Elsen Tasarkhai (Semi-Gobi)

After breakfast, travel through the breathtaking Orkhon Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its volcanic landscapes and nomadic culture.

Visit the impressive Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall (Red Waterfall), where you can enjoy a short hike, admire the dramatic basalt canyon, and take unforgettable photographs.

Meet a local nomadic family to learn about Mongolia's traditional lifestyle before continuing to Elsen Tasarkhai, also known as the Semi-Gobi Desert. Enjoy a camel ride across the sand dunes and watch a spectacular sunset over the desert.

Spend the night in a comfortable ger camp beneath Mongolia's star-filled sky.

Day 3: Semi-Gobi – Hustai National Park – Ulaanbaatar

Wake up to the peaceful desert landscape and take a morning walk across the sand dunes.

Continue to Hustai National Park, home to Takhi (Przewalski's horses). Search for these rare horses along with marmots, red deer, birds of prey, and other native wildlife while enjoying a scenic walk through the park.

Return to Ulaanbaatar in the late afternoon, bringing your unforgettable Central Mongolia adventure to an end.
