Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Head to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, also known as the Semi-Gobi. Stop at a local nomadic family to experience authentic Mongolian life and enjoy a traditional lunch.

Continue to the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai. Take in the breathtaking views of the desert landscape before heading to the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire, Kharkhorin. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest surviving Buddhist temple in Mongolia. Learn about its history and significance as you explore the complex.

Next, visit the Kharkhorin Museum, a small museum filled with information about the unique history of the area. Discover the rich cultural heritage of the region before heading to your ger camp for the night. Enjoy a comfortable stay in a modern ger (yurt) with a private toilet and shower.

On the second day, drive back to Ulaanbaatar, taking in the stunning landscapes of Mongolia along the way.
