Begin your day with a convenient pickup from Pune and head to the base village of Pimpri at Tamhini Ghat. Enjoy breakfast and tea before starting your trek through the Andharban Forest, a dense jungle in the Pimpri region of Maharashtra.

Walk along a ridge offering views of the Kundalika Valley, Bhira Dam, and the mountain ranges of Tamhini Ghat. Reach the remote village of Hirdi, the only village you will come across throughout your trek. Stop for a refreshment break and lunch here before starting to descend towards the Konkan route to reach Bhira.

The second half of the trek is roughly 4-5 km and you will reach the base village in no time while trekking on a flatter surface and enjoying scenic views of the backwaters of Bhira dam.
