Children aged 0-2 can join for free without a seat, but we do not recommend bringing them for safety reasons. If you choose to bring a young child, you must inform us at the time of booking. If no prior notice is given and the bus is full, the driver reserves the right to refuse boarding based on safety regulations. Penguin Walk start time: The event is scheduled to begin in late December each year, but the specific start date depends on actual snow conditions at the site. If there is insufficient snow, it may be delayed or suspended. Please note that the Penguin Walk only takes place during the snowy season and will not be available before snow has accumulated or after it has melted.
If any section of the highway is closed on the way to or from the destination, the tour will be rerouted via national or prefectural roads. Rest stops may also be changed to roadside stations (Michi-no-Eki). Depending on arrival time, the time spent at Asahiyama Zoo may be significantly reduced, and in the worst-case scenario, it may not be possible to visit at all. If a visit is not possible, we will refund the admission fee. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that due to winter road conditions and unpredictable traffic, travel times may be delayed. In rare cases, it may not be possible to arrive on time to participate in the penguin walk. We appreciate your understanding regarding these force majeure factors.
Depending on weather conditions or crowds, the time spent at each attraction may be reduced, and in rare cases, some attractions may have to be cancelled. Additionally, to ensure a smooth itinerary, the order of visits may be flexibly adjusted based on real-time conditions. Thank you for your understanding.
This is a fixed-route group tour. All passengers must adhere to the stay times at each attraction as arranged by the tour guide or driver. To protect the rights of all passengers, latecomers will be waited for for a maximum of 5 minutes. No exceptions. Those who fail to board on time must arrange their own transportation to meet the group at the next stop.
If you have large luggage, please register it with customer service when booking. During the tour, please keep your passport, cash, and valuables with you at all times. We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage. Only packaged light snacks or drinks with lids are allowed on the bus. If the interior of the vehicle is soiled, passengers will be required to pay for cleaning according to local Japanese vehicle cleaning standards.
