Product Info

Meet in Estes Park, Colorado, and follow your guide to the Bear Lake trailhead. Put on your snowshoes and trekking poles, and learn how to use the gear so that your winter experience is unforgettable.

*Snowshoes may or may not be used due to snow pack*

Begin your hike through a forest of pristine pine and aspen with stunning views of Longs Peak (14,256 ft) and the rugged wilderness of Rocky Mountain National Park. Pass by 3 other sub-alpine lakes on the way to Emerald Lake, including Bear Lake, Nymph Lake, and Dream Lake, each of which provides its own unique charm and views. *Dependent on conditions at the time, we may not see all of the lakes*

Arrive at Emerald Lake and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and frozen lake. Enjoy a hot drink and take some time to relax and soak in the beauty of the winter landscape before heading back to the trailhead.
