Reminders

  • Know Before You Go: Please remember to dress in layers as the wind blowing off the ocean is often quite cold. Expect anything you bring into the kayak to get a little wet. It can be hot elsewhere in the county but on the North Coast it generally stays cooler and often windier even if the sun is out. Water shoes or sandals work best as far as footwear options. A towel and a change of clothes for after kayaking is a good idea.
