This is the page for purchasing tickets for the chartered bus service, which departs from and returns to the Sounkyo Information Center (tourist information center) between Sounkyo and Ginsendai.
To alleviate traffic congestion during the autumn foliage season, prevent traffic accidents, and preserve the natural environment, vehicle restrictions (private car restrictions) will be implemented on the Ginsendai Line.
During the restricted period, please use either a chartered bus (reservation required) or alternating private car traffic (reservation required in advance). Both require advance reservation and payment.

- Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure.
- The Ginzendai Prefectural Road will be closed to traffic at the discretion of the road administrator if cumulative rainfall reaches 70 mm. If the tour is canceled due to the road closure, the full tour price will be refunded.
- For information regarding vehicle traffic restrictions (private car restrictions) during the autumn foliage season in fiscal year 2026, please visit the Kamikawa Town Hall website.

[For those arriving by car]
From the Kamikawa-Sounkyo Interchange on the Hokkaido Expressway, take National Route 39 towards Sounkyo for approximately 25 minutes. Please use the public parking lots around the Sounkyo Information Center (Sounkyo Tourist Information Center).
[For those arriving by public transport]
From Kamikawa Station on the JR Sekihoku Main Line, take the Dohoku Bus "Sounkyo-Kamikawa Line" and get off at the "Sounkyo" bus stop (approximately 30 minutes). The Sounkyo Information Center (Sounkyo Tourist Information Center) is right in front of the bus stop.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
