This tour includes complimentary tickets to the Nokiyama Ropeway and the Nihonji Temple; the value of these tickets is not included in the tour price. If these complimentary items are unavailable due to weather, traffic control, temporary closure of the scenic area, government announcements, force majeure, adjustments to the itinerary by the travel agency, or personal reasons of the traveler, it will be considered a voluntary waiver of the complimentary items. No refunds, cash rebates, or other compensation will be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience.

If the trip is interrupted on the departure day or during the trip due to the above reasons, the remaining tour fee will be refunded after deducting actual expenses incurred. No additional compensation claims will be accepted in such cases; any other losses or additional expenses incurred will be borne by the traveler. Return travel time may be delayed due to objective factors such as road conditions and weather on the day of the trip, especially during holidays when traffic congestion is more likely. The company will flexibly adjust the itinerary according to the actual situation, and the return time may be later than expected. If you need to take a night flight or connect to subsequent trips on the day of the trip, it is recommended to allow sufficient time to avoid affecting subsequent arrangements. No refunds or compensation will be provided for itinerary delays. Please be aware that passengers who need to catch a flight should carefully assess the situation before registering or make appropriate arrangements for subsequent trips.
The bus operates on a one-person-one-seat system to ensure the comfort and safety of every passenger. Seats cannot be reserved in advance. Depending on the actual bookings on the day, passengers of different genders may be seated next to each other; your understanding is appreciated. According to local Japanese regulations, children aged 3 and above also require a seat; therefore, children aged 3 and above will be charged the same fee as adults. If you are traveling with children, please inform customer service when placing your order. If you do not inform customer service in advance and have not paid the relevant fees, and the bus becomes overloaded due to children on the day of the tour, the tour guide has the right to refuse boarding to the child and accompanying parent in order to comply with local regulations and ensure the safety of all passengers. In this case, our company will not be held liable, and the fees already paid will not be refunded. Any additional losses incurred will be borne by the traveler. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Children and minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult with full civil capacity. Travelers aged 70 and above are advised to be accompanied by family or friends and must sign a waiver on the day of departure. To ensure your safety and the rights of other group members, if you have a chronic illness, mobility impairment, or other special health conditions, please inform us truthfully at the time of registration so that we can make necessary arrangements and assistance in advance. Any expenses incurred due to special assistance required for the traveler's personal reasons must be borne by the traveler.
If you are carrying multiple pieces or large luggage, please inform us in advance. Each passenger is limited to one suitcase.
For the return trip, you may choose to disembark at either Shinjuku or Tokyo. If any passengers choose to disembark at Shinjuku, the bus will stop there; if no passengers choose to disembark at Shinjuku, the bus will not stop there and will proceed directly to the Tokyo Station drop-off point. The return time is for reference only; actual arrival times may be earlier due to smooth traffic or favorable road conditions, or delayed due to traffic conditions or other force majeure events. Due to traffic, the journey may experience congestion, which could result in the driver exceeding their working hours. In such cases, to comply with relevant regulations, the tour will be adjusted to conclude at the nearest stop, either Shinjuku or Tokyo Station, and will not continue to the other location. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have a late-night flight or subsequent travel arrangements on the day of the tour, we recommend allowing sufficient time to avoid any disruption to your schedule.
There are stairs and slopes within the temple grounds. We recommend wearing comfortable, non-slip sneakers or hiking shoes and watching your step to ensure a safe visit.

From here, visitors can overlook the magnificent mountain and sea scenery of the entire Boso Peninsula from a high vantage point, including Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji in the distance. Its unique geographical location and thrilling views make it one of the most popular photo spots at Nihon-ji Temple, offering a breathtaking visual experience.
Haraoka Pier is known for its unique wooden structure, an old pier that extends directly to the surface of Tokyo Bay. It lacks railings, retaining a nostalgic and simple style, and is often used as a filming location for anime and movies. The atmosphere here is serene and romantic, perfect for strolling, admiring the sunset, and capturing the scenery where the sea meets the sky, offering a unique experience of merging with the ocean.
Hota Elementary School, transformed from a 폐교 (closed school), is now a complex facility integrating sightseeing, shopping, and dining. Visitors can experience the nostalgic campus atmosphere, explore the preserved classroom spaces, and savor local specialty cuisine. Additionally, the school offers a diverse selection of local souvenirs and specialty goods, allowing you to enjoy shopping while exploring its history.
Umihotaru PA is a unique海上休息站 (seaside rest stop) on Tokyo Bay, connecting the underwater tunnel. It is designed like a giant cruise ship docked at sea, offering unobstructed 360-degree panoramic sea views. Visitors can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Tokyo Bay, glimpse Mount Fuji in the distance, sample limited-edition delicacies, and learn about the engineering history of the Tokyo Bay Undersea Tunnel, adding unique memories to their journey.
As a millennium-old temple, Nihon-ji Temple boasts rich Buddhist history and culture beyond its magnificent Great Buddha. The temple houses numerous stone statues of Rakan (disciples of Buddha), with the 'Sen-go-hyaku Rakan' (Fifteen Hundred Rakan) being a major highlight, featuring intricate carvings and diverse poses. Furthermore, the temple's architectural complex is ancient, and its serene environment allows visitors to deeply appreciate the profound influence and artistic essence of Japanese Buddhism.
The Hell Peek Observation Deck at Nihon-ji Temple offers a grand, elevated perspective. From the cliffs, visitors can overlook the rolling mountains of the Boso Peninsula and the vast expanse of Tokyo Bay, experiencing its ruggedness and openness. The pier extending into the water makes visitors feel as if they are in the middle of the ocean, enjoying the tranquil beauty of the horizon and the sunset glow. Each offers a unique charm.
The visiting time for the Great Buddha and the Hell Peek Observation Deck at Nihon-ji Temple can vary depending on individual pace, but it is generally recommended to allocate about 1.5 to 2 hours. This includes taking the cable car (or walking up the mountain), spending time at the Great Buddha plaza, and visiting the Hell Peek Observation Deck for photos and sightseeing. Sufficient time allows for a deeper appreciation of the ancient temple's atmosphere and spectacular views.
