【Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine】 Located in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is one of the head shrines of more than 12,000 tenmangu shrines in Japan, along with Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto. It enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning and calligraphy during the Heian period, and has a history of over 1100 years. The main hall is a classic example of Momoyama-era architecture and is designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan. The grounds are planted with over 6,000 plum trees, and the most famous legend of the "Flying Plum" originated here. If the number of participants does not reach this minimum, we will cancel the tour and send a cancellation notice via email 4 days prior to departure. In the event of severe weather conditions such as typhoons or blizzards, a decision on whether to proceed as scheduled will be made at 23:00 local time the day before departure, and travelers will be notified of the result via email as follows.
2. Meeting Time Regulations: Please arrive at the boarding location 10 minutes before the designated meeting time. To avoid affecting the subsequent operations of the entire group, failure to arrive on time will be regarded as automatic abandonment of the trip by the passenger, and no waiting will be provided and no refund will be given.
III. Physical Condition Restrictions for Participation: Pregnant women, people with epilepsy, asthma, acrophobia, heart disease, high blood pressure, or other conditions that make them unsuitable for intense environmental stimulation should not register for this tour.
IV. Itinerary Flexibility: Due to force majeure factors such as weather, traffic congestion, and temporary closure of attractions (road congestion is especially likely on weekends and Japanese national holidays), the driver/guide reserves the right to flexibly adjust the order of visits to attractions and the duration of stay.
