This introduction to cross-country skiing takes place at Camp Mercier, one of the best ski centers in Quebec. Transportation from Quebec City is included. Upon arrival, the guide will introduce the gear and check the equipment. You then learn the basics of classic cross-country skiing. Work on balance, propulsion, braking, climbing, and descending. The guide adapts the exercises to your pace. You then set off on the trail for a short technical hiking tour in the forest. A picnic break and hot chocolate complete the outing. This activity combines learning, practice, and exploring the landscapes of the Laurentian Wildlife Reserve. Total duration: 4 hours. Beginner level. Minimum age 8 years old.
