Departing from Thesen Island, cruise through the sheltered waters of the Knysna Lagoon and explore its beautiful bays, coves and waterways. Along the way, enjoy views of the iconic Knysna Heads, the surrounding coastline and the Outeniqua Mountains rising in the distance.

The Knysna Estuary is rich in bird and marine life, so keep an eye out for herons, kingfishers, African fish eagles and other birdlife. Playful Cape fur seals are also frequently spotted in the lagoon.

Bella Vita’s comfortable lounge-style layout gives you the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the journey. Bring your own playlist and connect to the onboard sound system to create the atmosphere you want, whether you're celebrating with friends, spending time with family or simply enjoying a relaxed afternoon on the water.

On longer cruises, weather and conditions permitting, there may be an opportunity to anchor at Featherbed Bay and take a refreshing swim in the clear lagoon waters. Please note that Bella Vita remains within the Knysna Lagoon and does not pass through the Knysna Heads into the open ocean.
