Product Info

Embark on a 4-day journey along the Nile River aboard a luxurious 5-star cruise ship, traveling from Aswan to Luxor. With full-board meals included and your own private guide, experience the best of ancient Egypt in comfort and style.

Day 1: Aswan Exploration
Begin your adventure in Aswan, one of Egypt's most beautiful cities. Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to Philae Temple, known as the "Pearl of Egypt." Marvel at this Graeco-Roman temple complex with its colonnades, kiosks, and sanctuaries rising proudly against the skyline.

Afterward, you'll board your cruise ship and enjoy lunch onboard, followed by a relaxing afternoon and evening as you settle in.

Day 2: Kom Ombo & Edfu (Optional Abu Simbel)
Start the morning with a choice: join an optional guided tour to Abu Simbel to see the mighty temple built by Ramses II—a marvel of ancient engineering with a fascinating modern history—or enjoy a leisurely morning onboard.

At lunch, begin sailing toward Kom Ombo. Visit the unique temple dedicated to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus (the falcon-headed god) with your guide. This remarkable layout features two temples in one, with each side having its own gateways and chapels.

After your tour, return to the ship for dinner and a relaxing evening as you sail overnight to Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu & Valley of the Kings
Following breakfast, your guide will take you to the hidden gem of Edfu—Horus Temple. As the largest temple dedicated to Horus and one of Egypt's most important historic deities, the complex features statues of the falcon-headed god throughout. The temple's extensive wall carvings offer valuable insights into the Hellenistic period of Egyptian history, revealing details about religion, mythology, and daily life.

Day 4: Luxor's West and East Banks
After breakfast, leave your luggage at reception and spend the day exploring Luxor's incredible archaeological sites.

West Bank:
Begin at the Valley of the Kings, where you'll visit the royal tombs of pharaohs from the New Kingdom. Wander through passageways decorated with reliefs and hieroglyphs while learning about ancient Egyptian beliefs surrounding the afterlife.

Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. A keen admirer of Mentuhotep II's temple, Hatshepsut designed her own to mirror it but on a grander scale—and had it built right next to the older temple, just in case anyone missed the comparison.

Stop briefly at the massive Colossi of Memnon before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor.

East Bank:
Begin your afternoon at Karnak Temple, the largest temple in Luxor and one of the most impressive in Egypt. Home to three main temples, several smaller enclosed temples, and numerous outer temples, this UNESCO-listed site combines the achievements of many generations of ancient builders over 1,500 years.

Conclude your tour at Luxor Temple, a beautiful structure that served as the main venue for the annual Opet celebrations. Started by Amenhotep III and completed by Tutankhamun, Luxor Temple has fascinated visitors throughout the ages.

After your day in Luxor, your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
