- This is the ultimate ice adventure and New Zealand's only glacier boat tour. Located in the heart of Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, you will cruise across the Tasman Glacial Lake and witness the sheer scale of the Tasman Glacier, which is the largest glacier in New Zealand.
- You will spend approximately one hour on the water, giving you ample time to weave in and out of floating icebergs. Because the glacier is constantly melting and calving, the lake is an ever-changing environment filled with everything from small ice fragments to towering blocks of compressed ancient ice.
- When weather and lake conditions permit, your guides will retrieve pieces of ice directly from the water, providing guests with the thrilling opportunity to see and handle ancient glacier ice up close.
- The journey to the boats is part of the adventure. Guests will embark on a scenic 1.5km alpine walk through the National Park, which takes about 25 minutes. The entire experience is designed to both thrill and educate, giving you a deeper understanding of this rapidly changing glacial landscape.

_What to Wear_
Due to the unique alpine environment, it is highly recommended that you bring warm layers, sturdy walking shoes, sunglasses, and waterproof clothing.
Check-in Time: Guests are required to check in at the Activities Desk on the ground floor of the Hermitage Hotel 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

The experience is suitable for families, but the minimum age for children is 4 years old.
All guests must be fit and able to complete a 1.5km alpine walk in 25 minutes through the National Park to reach the boat jetty, and do the same on the return.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 4 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–3 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
