Join a hands-on baking class centered on authentic Greek Phyllo pies. A local family has passed down the same 100-year-old recipes for generations to create hearty, country-style delights. This is the authentic, golden, thick-crust dough of the Greek countryside: rustic, crunchy, and easy for anyone to knead and stretch. You will walk through the organic garden, harvesting seasonal greens and herbs. Back in the open-air kitchen, you will learn to roll and fill your own dough using the local selection extra virgin olive oil and the family recipes. The process is kept simple, ensuring you leave with the knowledge to recreate these flavours in your own kitchen.

The recipes are: Wild greens and Feta goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and oregano; Pumpkin with walnuts, cinnamon, and raisins; Baklava with honey, cinnamon, and walnuts.

As your pies bake in the wood-burning oven, you gather at the big farmer’s table to share the meal together. It is a moment to disconnect from the noise of modern life and enjoy the honest rewards of the land and your labor.
