Join this 2-day tour from Marsa Alam and discover the highlights of Luxor combined with a hot air balloon experience!


- Day one: After an approximately five-hour drive, you head straight to the impressive Karnak Temple, followed by Luxor Temple with the Sphinx Avenue. Then it's time to rest your legs and tuck into a delicious set menu lunch followed by check-in at a 5-star hotel for overnight. In the evening, experience the sound and light show at Karnak temple, which is a 1½ hour Hollywood-style extravaganza that recounts ancient history.
- Day two: check out in the early morning, crossing the Nile to meet your pilot, crew, and fellow passengers of the hot air balloon. Feel your excitement grows as the hot air balloon is inflated and you step into the basket. The Balloon rises so smooth you might not even know you left the ground. Fly over the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, plus the green fields next to local villages. Upon landing, your Egyptologist will be waiting for you to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the staggering Colossi of Memnon. Another Nile experience onboard a felucca made your day while sailing towards the hotel for a delicious set menu lunch and then, driving straight away back to Marsa Alam.

  • Extra fees to be paid on-site:A visit to three tombs is included in your Valley of the Kings entrance ticket, except for Ramses VI and Tutankhamen's tombs, which require an additional fee. Tutankhamen's tomb is around 700 EGP for adults and 350 EGP for children under 12. The Tomb of Ramses VI entrance cost is approximately 220 EGP for adults and 110 EGP for children under the age of 12. Payment is available only with a credit card

  • Know in advance:For the balloon ride, the minimum age is 6 years old, and all children need to be accompanied by an adult

  • The balloon trip is subject to favourable weather conditions. If cancelled due to weather, you will be entitled to a partial refund

  • The tour duration time is simply a guideline and subject to change due to operational conditions or the hotel's location. The balloon flight duration is normally about 45 minutes; however, flight times can vary from 40 to 90 minutes depending on the temperature of the air

  • If possible, you may want to arrange a take-away breakfast box and late dinner with your hotel reception before the tour date

  • The 6-people private group is open to a maximum of 15 participants

  • Please be aware that a copy of your passport will be required during the confirmation process

  • The insurance included with this tour/activity covers accidents that may occur to guests while participating in the tour or activity
