Accessibility:Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated, provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark

Highland hotels and guesthouses do not have lifts or elevators. Guests should be able to walk up steps in order to access rooms

Not allowed:Children under 5 years old

Know in advance:Check-in starts 30 minutes prior to departure. Please arrive on time

Students must hold a valid ISIC/ISE/ITIC card

Please note that it's not guaranteed that people who have booked together will be seated together. Seats can't be allocated

It is very important to return to the bus on time at the itinerary stops. Your guide will display the time that the bus departs on a clock that will be visible. The bus will not wait for latecomers

The minimum age for a Highland Explorer Tour passenger is 5 years old

Those who are 17 years old pay the adult price, but need to be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over

The summer and winter itineraries vary slightly

It's recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes

Please note that there may be instances where Doune Castle is closed due to estate and filming activities. In those cases, we will be visiting Linlithgow Palace instead of Doune Castle (exterior only). Linlithgow Palace is the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and a filming location for Outlander.
