Segway riding is an adventure activity. Therefore, according to the Segway PT manufacturer's specifications, participants need to weigh between 45-117 kg / 99-257 lbs.
Participants must wear closed-toe shoes when participating in any Uluru Seghway tour. Under no circumstances will participants wearing flip-flops be allowed to participate in any Uluru Seghway tour.
Participants must not have any visual or balance impairments that would impair the safe operation of the Segway PT.
People with serious health problems or hip/back/knee injuries (or a history of such injuries) should not participate in any Seghway activities. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. People aged 55 and over should consider their individual physical condition and whether they are suitable for this tour. Uluru Seghway Tours strongly advises against this tour for people aged 65 and over.
Government regulations prohibit smoking inside our tour vehicles. Guests are not allowed to smoke while riding the Segway.
Participants are required to purchase a ticket to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Guests who are unable or unwilling to purchase a national park ticket will not be allowed entry to the national park or to participate in the tour, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
