When there are fewer passengers, a small vehicle with a Chinese-speaking driver/guide will be used. English-speaking service will not be available. Please be aware that this is a shared ride service, and other guests will be traveling with you. Stopping is not allowed outside of tourist attractions.
People with the following respiratory conditions (asthma, bronchitis, heart disease) are not suitable for this trip. Entering Mount Aso is prohibited at any time, as the volcano's toxic gases may trigger an attack of their condition, which could lead to death in severe cases.
Children must also be counted as passengers. Child safety seats cannot be provided. Minors must be accompanied by an adult family member. Please be aware of this.
Aso-kusa Senri Observatory and the Aso Volcano Museum may be temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, typhoons, or volcanic activity. In such cases, the itinerary will be adjusted according to the actual situation, and visits cannot be guaranteed in advance.
The crater area is currently closed and cannot be visited. The itinerary will be adjusted to extend the visit to Kusanagi, with specific arrangements subject to change based on road and weather conditions. When the crater is open, the visit to Kusanagi will last 70 minutes; when the crater is closed, the visit will be extended by 30 minutes, including lunch (at your own expense). Whether or not access to the crater is possible depends on official updates and the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly.
The final entry time for the castle tower is 16:00. Please allow ample time.
