Day 1 : Arrival in Patna – Vaishali Excursion

Upon arrival at Patna Airport or Patna Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your Buddhist pilgrimage journey. Travel to Vaishali, one of the most important Buddhist heritage destinations in India. Vaishali is renowned as the place where Lord Buddha delivered his final sermon and announced his approaching Mahaparinirvana. Visit the Ashokan Pillar, Buddha Relic Stupa, Kutagarasala Vihara and other archaeological remains associated with Buddhist history. After sightseeing, return to Patna and check in to your hotel. Over night stay in Patna.

Day 2 : Patna – Kesariya Stupa – Kushinagar (Approx. 235 KM / 6 Hrs.)

After breakfast, travel towards Kushinagar. En route, visit Kesariya Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and an important site associated with Lord Buddha's final journey. Continue to Kushinagar, one of the four principal Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Upon arrival, visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, home to the revered reclining Buddha statue, and Ramabhar Stupa, traditionally believed to mark the cremation site of Lord Buddha. Later, transfer to your hotel. Over night stay in Kushinagar.

Day 3 : Kushinagar – Lumbini (Approx. 170 KM / 4 Hrs.)

Depart Kushinagar and travel to Lumbini in Nepal after completing the necessary border formalities. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most important destinations on the Buddhist pilgrimage circuit. Day 4 : Lumbini – Kapilvastu – Sravasti (Approx. 180 KM / 5 Hrs.)

Visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and one of the most sacred destinations in Buddhism. See the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Ashokan Pillar and international monasteries established by Buddhist communities from around the world. Continue to Kapilvastu, the ancient capital of the Shakya Kingdom where Prince Siddhartha spent his early years before beginning his spiritual path. After sightseeing, travel to Sravasti in India and check in to your hotel. Over night stay in Sravasti.

Day 5 : Sravasti Sightseeing – Varanasi (Approx. 320 KM / 7 Hrs.)

Visit Sravasti, one of the most important destinations on the Buddhist pilgrimage circuit, where Lord Buddha spent many monsoon retreats and delivered numerous teachings. See Jetavana Monastery, Anand Bodhi Tree, Angulimala Stupa and other archaeological remains associated with Buddhist history. Later, travel to Varanasi, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat before returning to your hotel. Over night stay in Varanasi.

Day 6 : Varanasi – Sarnath – Bodh Gaya (Approx. 255 KM / 6 Hrs.)

Begin the day in Varanasi before travelling to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment and established the first Buddhist Sangha. Visit Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara and other important monuments associated with the origins of Buddhism. Later, continue to Bodh Gaya, the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree. Over night stay in Bodh Gaya.

Day 7 : Bodh Gaya Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Bodh Gaya, the most sacred destination in Buddhism. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mahabodhi Temple Complex, the sacred Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), Great Buddha Statue and international monasteries representing Buddhist traditions from different countries. Day 8 : Bodh Gaya – Barabar Caves – Rajgir – Nalanda

After breakfast, travel to the historic Barabar Caves, among the oldest surviving rock-cut caves in India and an outstanding example of Mauryan-era architecture. Continue to Rajgir and visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture Peak), where Lord Buddha delivered many important teachings, along with Venuvana Monastery and other sites associated with Buddhist history. Later, visit Nalanda University Ruins, one of the world's earliest and most renowned centers of Buddhist learning. After sightseeing, return to Rajgir. Over night stay in Rajgir.

Day 9 : Rajgir – Patna Departure (Approx. 100 KM / 2.5 Hrs.)

Travel from Rajgir to Patna, historically known as Pataliputra, one of the most important cities of ancient India and a significant center in the history of Buddhism.
