- Participation Restriction -

All participants must submit a participant waiver on-site on the day of the event. The waiver is available on the website, and you may complete it in advance.

※ The participant waiver and the parental consent form for minors can be downloaded from the notices section of the website.

  • Beginner 1 : 5 years and older (Born before Dec, 31, 2021), Minimum height requirement: 100 cm or taller
  • Beginner 2, Intermediate, Advanced : 13 years and older (Born on or before Dec 31, 2013)
  • Intermediate and advanced participants are recommended to have prior swimming experience or experience in triathlon events.


- Operation -

  • This event focuses on participation and completion rather than competition. Rankings will not be recorded. Timing and ranking announcements will not be conducted, and the use of personal timing equipment is not supported.
  • Duplicate participation is not allowed, and participation records will be verified via wristbands.
  • Even if you arrive before your start time, participants will depart in groups once a certain number is reached, so waiting time may occur.
  • Each participant will receive one wristband upon registration. Lost or damaged wristbands cannot be reissued. Participation in all three events is not mandatory, and you may join freely according to your physical condition. The wristband allows participants for 3 days; however, swimming events are limited to the registered date only.


- Safety & Insurance -

Event insurance is provided; however, coverage may be limited in cases of accidents caused by personal negligence.


- Storage-

  • Storage facilities are located near the starting points of each course and operate from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. (until 9:00 PM on Saturdays). Please collect your belongings within operating hours.
    ※ Suitcases cannot be stored in the baggage storage area, so please refrain from bringing them.
  • Valuables can be stored, but participants are advised to keep them personally to prevent loss.
  • The organizers are not responsible for any loss or theft due to personal negligence. Please take care to secure your valuables.


- Facilities & Bicycle Use-

  • Shower facilities are available Ttukseom Hangang Park outdoor swimming pool and at the finish point of the advanced 1 km swim, operating as gate-style spray showers.
  • Public rental bikes (Ddareungi) for the event can be used at designated times without separate registration. Please return them to the same location after use.
  • Bicycle rental duration is 1 hour 30 minutes for beginner/intermediate participants and 2 hours for advanced participants. No additional fees will be charged for exceeding the rental time, but please adhere to the rental time for smooth operation. Helmets are mandatory and must be brought by each participant.
  • PAS (pedal-assist) electric bicycles are allowed, while throttle-based electric bicycles are restricted. Please ride safely at speeds below 20 km/h, following the lead cyclist.
  • There is no separate storage space for personal bicycles; please use the bike racks within the Hangang Park.
    Bringing your own bicycle is allowed; however, any accidents that occur while using a personal bicycle will be considered the rider’s responsibility, and insurance coverage may be limited.
    ※ Loss or theft of personal bicycles is also the individual’s responsibility, and the organizers are not liable.
  • For advanced participants, if you leave your belongings at the Jamsil Water Taxi Dock (South) before the swim start, they will be transported to the North side. (Personal bicycles cannot be transported, so participants must move their bikes to the starting point in advance.)
  • For safety during cycling, wearing a helmet is mandatory. Please bring your own helmet.

[Event Guidelines]

  • No prior triathlon experience is required; however, for safety reasons, participants with swimming experience are recommended for the Han River swim.
  • The beginner outdoor swimming event is open to participants aged 5 and above (born in 2021 or earlier). Han River swimming (beginner/intermediate/advanced) is open to participants aged 13 and above (born on or before Dec 31, 2013).
  • Advanced-level swimming must be participated in at the registered time, (Please arrive 1 hour 30 minutes before your reserved time.) for running and cycling as well, please participate on your reserved date and session to ensure the safe operation of the event.
  • For Advanced swimming, the last start time is 13:30 PM, and participants must reach the north bank by 14:00 PM. For beginner and intermediate Han River swimming, the last start time is 17:30 PM, and participants must finish by 18:00 PM. Other courses have a final start time of 18:00 PM, and item collection must be completed by 19:00 PM.
  • Safety briefing and stretching will be conducted before the swim. The starting order is : participants wearing fins → barefoot participants → participants using safety buoys. Participants in the 1km Han River swim must arrive at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before the start to prepare and wear suits.
    ※ For advanced-level swimming, the start time varies depending on the swimming method (with fins or barefoot). If you wish to start together with your companion, please select the same swimming method.
  • Towels will not be provided after swimming, so please prepare your own if needed.
  • For Advanced swim participants, wearing a full-body wetsuit is mandatory.
    ※ Wetsuit rental is available : Limited quantities(paid service, rental fee 20,000 KRW)

[Notice]

  • The rental full-body wetsuit is not a new product and may show signs for prior use.
  • Due to the nature of the product, it may not provide a perfect fit and could be uncomfortable.
  • The rental wetsuit is a swimming aid that provides limited insulation and buoyancy.
  • The rental wetsuit does not guarantee safety.
  • In case of loss or severe damage, the renter may be charged the retail price (249,000 KRW).

Q1. If one person purchases multiple tickets, how will identity verification be handled?
→ During the booking process, the names of all participants must be provided. At the on-site registration booth, the names and IDs of all participants, including the representative, will be checked.

Q2. Will individual records be measured using timing chips?
→ This event focuses on completing the course rather than competition, so official timing will not be recorded. If you wish to track your time, please do it individually.

Q3. Can participants complete the triathlon disciplines in any order?
→ Beginner and intermediate participants may complete the disciplines in any order. However, advanced participants must start with swimming as the first discipline.

Q4. What facilities are available?
→ Changing rooms, simple shower facilities (outdoor open showers), and storage area will be provided.
* Please note that large luggage such as suitcases cannot be stored, so we kindly ask you not to bring them.

Q5. Is parking available at the venue?
→ Parking at Ttukseom Hangang Park is available; however, it is often full due to high visitor traffic. As no additional parking is provided for the event, we strongly recommend using public transportation.

Q6 Will water be provided?
→ Water stations will be available at the turning point.

Q7. Can I use a life jacket or safety buoy during the swimming event?
→ You may use them if brought personally. However, the use of tubes is not allowed.

  • All participants must submit a participant waiver on-site on the day of the event. The waiver is available on the website, and you may complete it in advance.

  • Each person can purchase up to 4 tickets. * Reservation exceeding 4 tickets per person may be subject to cancellation. Only those who agree to this condition should proceed with booking.

  • Tickets are available in limited quantities and may sell out early.

  • Please make sure to check the height and age requirements for each course before making a reservation. (Cancellations due to failure to check this information are not permitted.)

  • Additional or on-site registration will depend on remaining ticket availability and will be announced later.

  • At the on-site Foreigner Booth, both the voucher and a valid ID for all participants will be checked.
    * Vouchers can be presented either in printed or mobile. 
  • The participant registration booth operates from 08:00 to 17:00. (However, advanced course swimming begins at 6:30.) 
  • The event operates from 09:00 to 18:00. However, advanced couse swimming begins at 8:00. 
  • Required : Valid ID (required for all participants, including companions), Reservation confirmation voucher, Swim cap, Swim goggles, Swimsuit, towel, bicycle helmet, and other personal items 
  • The entry wristband provided on-site must not be lost. Lost wristbands will result in disqualification from participation. 
  • The last start time is 18:00, and participants must finish the race and collect their medal by 19:00. However, advanced course swimming last start time is 13:30.
