- This is a snowshoe tour that explores hidden spots in Shirogane Onsen, surrounded by birch forests deep in Biei. We will head to the 'Blue River,' the Biei River, which shares the same cobalt blue color as the Blue Pond. Professional guides will provide instructions on winter hiking throughout the tour. Free shuttle service is available from Asahikawa Station and Biei Station. This tour is recommended for those who want a unique snowshoeing experience or are trying it for the first time. After descending, we will stop by the Shirahige Waterfall. We can also stop at a nearby hot spring if you wish.

- Specialized equipment such as snowshoes and poles can be rented for free. In addition to the above, goggles, winter gloves, waterproof/insulated outerwear, and waterproof/insulated snow boots are available for rent for an additional fee. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to rent these items. The paid rental fees below are per item. Ski goggles (one size) / Winter gloves: 500 JPY Insulated/waterproof jacket and pants set (S-LL size): 2000 JPY Insulated/waterproof shoes (21-29cm): 2000 JPY

- We provide free shuttle service from Asahikawa Station or Biei Station. You can join us using public transportation. Pick-up from accommodation facilities around the station is also possible. Basically, the meeting and drop-off points are the same. If you meet in Asahikawa, you will be dropped off in Asahikawa.

- Tours are conducted in small groups to ensure attentive support. We limit the tour to a maximum of 2 groups and 5 participants. As a COVID-19 countermeasure, alcohol disinfectant and disposable masks are provided in the shuttle vehicle.

What You Can Expect

- 09:00Full itinerary. Reception at the meeting point. After reception, travel to the activity site. 10:30 Arrival at the activity site. Preparation. 10:30~13:30 Snowshoeing activity. 14:30~15:30 After the activity, drop-off at Biei Station or Asahikawa Station.

Regarding cancellation of the event:
- Tours may be canceled before departure due to weather conditions or other force majeure reasons. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible. If the tour is canceled for the above reasons, there will be no cancellation fee. In addition, depending on weather conditions and other circumstances, we may change the course or schedule to ensure the safety of our guests. Please note that we cannot provide refunds, including all expenses, even if the original purpose of the tour is not achieved as a result.

Rental equipment: Specialized equipment such as snowshoes and poles are available for free rental. In addition to the above, goggles, waterproof and cold-resistant outerwear, and waterproof and cold-resistant snow boots are available for rental, but at an additional cost. If you would like to rent additional items for a fee, please let us know the size and quantity for each gender when you register. The rental fees listed below are per item. - Cancellations 14 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 8 to 13 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 80% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
