Product Info

  • Recommended for those confident in their physical fitness, this course flows through the Kushiro Wetland. You will paddle leisurely from Toro Lake to the Iwahoboki Floodgate, feeling the breeze blowing through the wetlands on the wide, gentle river. Basically, you will not get wet, so please come in comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. For those short on time, we recommend the short course from Hosooka Station to the Iwahoboki Floodgate. *This is the long course.
  • Encounter Course
  • 'The wetland course is where you have a high probability of encountering wild animals along the 113km-long Kushiro River. You might be able to see the natural appearance of creatures living by the river, such as Ezo deer, red-crowned cranes, kingfishers, and minks.'
  • Experience it thoroughly with the Long Course
  • If you have time to spare, the long course is recommended. Please enjoy plenty of healing time in the heart of nature.

Regarding cancellation of the event:

  • In principle, the tour can be held even in rainy weather, but it may be cancelled if the weather conditions are extremely bad, such as heavy rain or flooding.

How to Get There
・For those arriving by car: Please use the campground's parking lot. Your guide will be waiting in front of the toilets. ・For those arriving by train: The nearest station is Toro Station. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the meeting point.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 7 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 2 to 6 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
