The history of Jinjiang Restaurant can be clearly traced back to the first year of the Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1909 AD). It was opened in Guangzhou in 1909 by Tan Qingbo, the "Second Generation Teahouse King," and later opened at 117-119 Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong, boasting over a century of history. Its cuisine blends Chinese and Western styles, creating many unique Cantonese dishes and marking an important chapter in the development of Hong Kong restaurants. In 2025, Jinjiang Restaurant relaunched in Hong Kong, determined to bring traditional Cantonese cuisine and Hong Kong's innovative spirit back to its guests, allowing everyone to experience the flavors of traditional Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine. Jinjiang Restaurant insists on handcrafting dim sum, using the finest ingredients to create a variety of exquisite dishes, meticulously crafting roasted meats, and carefully preparing Hong Kong-style street food. Each dish embodies the charm of Hong Kong's culinary history, allowing guests to experience the cultural changes of Hong Kong over the past century, inheriting traditional craftsmanship, and continuing the legend of Hong Kong's culinary scene.
