  • Inuyama frequently runs campaigns where you can get great discounts if you wear a kimono or yukata! Inuyama Castle Town has been built with the castle structure known as "Sogamae" (a moat surrounding the castle and castle town), remaining intact, and the townscape that recreates the atmosphere of the past is popular with tourists. There are also many shops with a retro feel, making it an attractive place to enjoy eating while walking around. When you stroll around Inuyama Castle Town, be sure to wear a kimono♪

Purchase Notice

Regarding cancellation of the event:

  • In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as a strong wind or typhoon on the day, we will accept cancellations on the day. In such cases, there will be no cancellation fee.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

  • ●There is no age limit, but we only have kimonos for people between 145cm and 175cm tall. ●Please return kimonos by closing time of 6pm. ●We ask that pregnant women refrain from booking kimonos as dressing can put strain on the body.

Other important points:

  • ●We do not have a dedicated parking lot. If you are coming by car, please park in a nearby coin parking lot. We recommend Inuyama Castle Parking Lot No. 3 (Inuyama City Hall).

  • Kimono rental, dressing, hair styling, consumption tax included. <Women> Kimono, obi, drawstring bag, sandals, undershirt, dressing accessories, correction towel, and new tabi socks included as a gift.
  • Hair accessories for rent or purchase start from 330 yen (tax included)

Reminders

  • Participant age: 18 to 100 years old

  • What to wear and bring: In autumn and winter, we recommend wearing Heattech or leggings under your kimono. Women should wear Heattech with an open neckline, and men should wear Heattech with a wide V-neck or U-neckline. If the neckline is tight, you will be asked to remove it as it will be visible under the kimono.

  • Rental items: Hair accessories are available for rental and purchase from 324 yen (tax included).

  • Minimum number of participants: 1 person
